Anush Arakelyan (Born 1964)
Graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia in 1988. Member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia since 1988. After completing her education in USA she returned back to Armenia.
Anush Araqelyan’s art is about the dedication to the homeland, life’s harmony, and beauty. In her canvases filled with colors of the native nature, she often perpetuates the mountains and lakes of her homeland. She masterfully applies various painting technique. Along with artworks developed by detailed and classical painting methods, we see impressionistic artworks as well, painted by confident brush strokes. The painter creates angels and apostles with different features while giving various meanings and symbols, and even the techniques she uses are part of her symbolic language.
