Aram Isabekyan (Born 1952)
Graduated from Yerevan Fine Arts and Theater Institute in 1976. Member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia and the UNESCO International Artists Union since 1982. Aram Isabekyan’s works are kept in National Gallery of Armenia, State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. Over 300 works are in private collections worldwide.
Aram Isabekyan’s art tells us story of his life. An intellectual artist – he tells us about his famous parents, family, reminiscences and wisdom acquired on his long artistic path. Common objects in his paintings are shrouded by mystery and subtle otherworldly sense. Metaphysical and surreal motives are among his favorites. Isabekyan’s art is diverse, however his masterful brush and precise linear composition are easily recognizable.
