oil on canvas, 50x74 cm , 2018-20
Gagik Siravyan (Born 1970)
Graduated from the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia in 1995. Member of Artists’ Union of Armenia since 1996. His artworks replenishment private collections of Spain, Italy, Switzerland, USA, etc.In his work, the artist tries to capture the instantaneous light. Conspicuous with its delicate coloring, his artwork communicates in deep, stirring layers, moving the viewer to the edge of the dream and reality. It is not a coincidence that the main character of his art is the tree. By changing the look of the tree, by giving life to the coiling branches, the painter leaves the viewer in a visual dilemma, as if his paintings were portraits of the trees, full of emotions and individual mood. As the painter states, “My trees are human”.
