Peto Poghosyan (Born 1983)
Graduated State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia in 2006. His works can be found in museums and private collections in Armenia, USA, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Great Britain, Austria, Russia, Iran, UAE, Argentina, China, Serbia, Slovenia etc.
A celebrated master of watercolor, Peto Poghosyan is creating intimate landscapes and cityscapes, dear to every living Armenian’s heart. His sometimes highly realistic drawings never lack the lightness and opacity of watercolor paint. His soft brush vivifies whiteness of the snow and cherry trees, breathes life into old hut and city streets. Another important subject for Poghosyan’s art is the society and major events of modern world.
